NOW FOR SALE at Classic Volks:
General
• 1976 late bay, originally from Australia and imported by G’day Kombis.
• Completely refurbished by G’Day Kombis in 2014, including any rust removed, and full external paint in Mango Green with a Lotus White roof - by Brick Kiln. New refurbished engine. New pop top, rock and roll bed, upholstery, head lining.
Overall condition:
• Chassis – very good. Treated with underseal around 2015 and it has remained in very good condition, with virtually no rust.
• Bodywork – there are a number of small areas of rust, particularly along the seams – and the driver side wheel arch. He still looks pretty tidy.
• Interior - good condition. Upholstery is all good quality vinyl and has stood up well to 10 years of wear.
• Engine bay – good condition.

Engine:
• TYPE 4 2l with twin Weber ICTs

Leisure electrics:
• 200Ah lead acid leisure battery circuit
• 100W flexible solar panel (fitted 2022)
• CTEK D250SA b2b/solar controller. This also trickle charges the van battery from the solar which is really useful.
• CTEK trickle charger (MX5.0 (TBC)).
• Victron Smart shunt for monitoring battery level. (There is also a Merlin battery monitor fitted into the kitchen unit that is not connected)
• 240 electrics - external hook up cable in engine bay into consumer unit. The consumer unit has two circuits:
o one for the CTEK battery charger
o One for 240 sockets. NOTE no 240 sockets are connected/live currently One is fitted in the cabin and cabling / fuse box is in place so could easily be recommissioned.
Security:
• Cobra alarm and immobiliser fitted.
