Swipe to meet a future Porsche owner 😅😅

Took a trip to earlier this week to have a chat with the guys who rebuilt the C4S engine a fair while ago now, 45k miles ago actually! Grant ended up taking it out for a spin and we had a nice chat about the ins and outs of it all. Some good stuff to know!

Had to call in and see a mate while I was over that way… your sons gonna be a driver 🤣🤣

I’m not as angry as I look, honest 😂.. weather was bright.
Put a fair few thousands miles on the C4S now. So here are some thoughts on it after being a pure bmw owner for the last 15 years...

These things feel special every time you drive one

The C4S sticks to the floor like it’s sucking down when the tyres are warm

The torque is very unique and hits hard even without a turbo

Porsche tax is real

The interior feels premium even though I thought it wouldn’t

The 996 is very analog it’s like driving a go-cart

It’s a great all rounder/daily

The mpg actually shocked me for a 3.6 flat 6

Worrying about catastrophic engine failure becomes normal and you lean to not care anymore and just enjoy it 😂

Over and out, here’s to many more miles 🍻

Nice trip out in the 911 today. Been dailying this thing for the week to work and absolutely loving it. Every time you get in it it’s an experience and it’s one I’ve not had before. Don’t get me wrong I love BMWs but this might be turning me into a Porsche guy too 😂. This may be the ‘ugly’ one out of the 911 range, but I think it’s really starting to look like a classic now and it’s grown on me fast. Maybe the 996 is about to have its time… something’s cooking anyway. 😂🤙🏻
