Start each day with a song in your heart, the in your mind, and peace and love in your Spirit.

“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.”

Lord, I confess: sometimes the fiery darts hit close and my grip on faith shakes. But today, instead of shrinking back, I lift my shield. I remind my heart that these attacks aren’t proof I’m weak; they’re just proof the enemy sees my purpose. So I choose to speak Your truth over my fear. I choose prayer over panic. Even when the arrows keep falling, Your promises are my defense. Faith doesn’t mean I never feel the heat; it means I trust You even when I do. Help me stand firm, eyes on You, knowing every flaming arrow can be extinguished. Amen.

“Take up the shield of faith…” Eph. 6:16

Some days, I show up with tangled thoughts, unfinished prayers, and hope that's running on empty. I catch myself wishing I had more togetherness to offer You, Lord: more answers, more faith, more polished strength. But right here, in all my rough edges, I find You welcoming me. You aren’t asking for performance, just presence. Thank You for meeting me in the middle of my mess. I’m learning it’s better to show up imperfectly with You than not at all. This is real faith: coming as I am, letting You fill in the gaps.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Find someone who’s willing to seek Christ with you.

And not someone who pretends to have all the answers, but someone honest enough to admit they’re still figuring it out too. Faith isn’t meant to be walked alone. It grows best when it’s shared, when two people choose to keep turning toward God together.

Find someone who will pray with you when life feels heavy and words don’t come easily. Someone who won’t rush you through doubt or pressure you to be “strong,” but will sit with you and remind you that God is still there, even in the quiet and the waiting.

Someone who points you back to Christ when it would be easier to give up.

Look for someone who values truth over comfort. Someone who’s willing to be real with you when you’re drifting, gentle when you’re tired, and steady when you’re unsure.

Someone who opens the Bible not to sound holy, but to understand God’s heart and live it out.

Find someone who celebrates growth, not perfection. Someone who notices the small steps, and the effort. Someone who understands that faith deepens in the hard seasons, not just the good ones.

Seek Christ together in the late night prayers, and the quiet conversations.

Because when two people keep choosing Him together, the path feels clearer, the weight feels lighter, and faith becomes something you live every day, not just something you say you believe.
