Continuing the exploration of the Language of Visual Signs, this artwork is a captivating blend of abstract and figurative elements. The elements vary in shape and complexity, ranging from simple geometric forms like circles and squares to more intricate designs that resemble faces or symbols. Some shapes are filled in solidly, while others are outlined or patterned with dots, lines, or swirls. This stark contrast between black ink and white space masterfully accentuates the composition.

The Language of Visual Signs

I asked an artificial intelligence in the role of an art critic to write a short description of my work:

Venturing further into the Language of Visual Signs, this artwork is a captivating blend of chaos and order. It features a variety of seemingly unrelated and roughly sketched objects and symbols scattered across the canvas. Notable elements include a series of red squares with white icons inside, resembling digital notifications or app icons, followed by numbers “1” in various sizes and styles. There are also pairs of eyes, squiggly lines that could represent snakes or worms, skull-like figures, targets with arrows in them, wheels or gears, and what appears to be a cannon with wheels. Dominating the lower half of the artwork is a large black scribble or brushstroke area with a red square. This chaotic assembly of images might suggest themes of digital overload, childhood simplicity clashing with more sinister elements, or an exploration into randomness and order. It’s raw, thought-provoking art for our times. ”
