The CH-47D Chinook helicopters, renowned for their ability to operate in high-altitude environments, are tasked with this critical operation. Once on the ground, the climbers and equipment will need to be swiftly unloaded, and we are instructed to stand ready for rapid extraction in case of emergencies.

Ahead of our upcoming rotorcraft ORBX stream on twitch this week, we decided to learn the ropes of the new ORBX Miltech CH47D by test flying out of LUKLA to the only conceivable location on Earth worthy of such a beautiful bird! (the summit of Mount Everest!)

We have fallen in love with the way this rotor craft handles, feels and sounds! Flyes great with the track ir / delan clip and we also tested it out with VR (just for completeness ;)

Our msfs rotorcraft of choice!!

Great work really love the full fidelity of this thing!

Just wanted to share an amazing tool that you really cant do without if you enjoy using GSX

This tool allows you to check to see if you have the GSX airport profile installed and if you dont also makes it easy to track down and install the missing GSX profile (if its available) with a couple of short clicks!

✓ GSX Profile Manager is a Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 mod created by DocWhiplash. Download for free to enhance your experience in MSFS 2020.

Amazing groupflight / sunset flight into Lord Howe Island YLHI (ORBX) from YSSY (Tampa) in the ATR last night.

RNAV10 proving a difficult yet amusing landing experience with unconventional landing locations by some pilots in larger aircraft (a320s) witnessed 🤣🤣🤣,

A great approach with island great scenery!!!! Highly recommend this remote island landing / flight! Ball pyramid also a nice GA flight from Lord Howe Island bonus 😉

Last night we controlled in Perth and, wow! What a friggen CHAOTIC night on Spilled Milkrun Monday it was!!!

ATC Controlling Perth GND/DEL and TWR positions. We had so much traffic it felt like space invaders had invaded my monitor 😂.

Lots of Traffic, lots of fun!!! Thanks Vatpac / VATSIM for hosting the event! (Axonos YPPH Scenery in use for this event on my end).

For your info This event is hosted around 7:30am ZULU every Monday. Why not join the event next week!
