David Adoliba, spokesperson for the Bawku Traditional Council, has revealed that the mediation efforts between the two factions involved in the Bawku conflict facilitated by the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace was successful.

He explained that the Asantehene indicated he had been instructed by the President to lead the process and would therefore brief the President before taking any further steps.

The Asantehene also urged both factions to remain calm, cooperate fully, and caution their youth against engaging in further violence.
