Formal President John Kufuor and his government are the main reason why Ghanaians in Ghana are suffering now...
• We all learnt about Hundred's, Ten's and One's in low school. So If a government turned ¢10,000 to ¢1, ¢1000 to 10pesewas "turning note to coin" and tell as the value is still the same , ask yourself how many digits have we lost... They used that word "the value is still the same" to convince people's not to check on the feature because you can still buy items that cost ¢10,000 with that ¢1 in just five months or a year , after you will see it aren't the same as they speak of. I was in class five that time 2007, (I asked one of ours teacher's "I don't think the value is still same" and gave him my explanation he said I'm a smart student) the government did that to increase *taxes* , let's say you pay 200 coin for a daily tax in market and the new current don't have 2 pesewas only 1 pesewas at that time and the people's also aren't using the 1 pesewas for payment so you have to pay 20 pesewas as tax per day which is a equivalent to ¢2000 (you have paid 10 day tax per day) after few months the taxes increased from 20 pesewas to 50 pesewas and to Ghs1, so you are going to pay 25 days taxes for just a single day around just a year or two. Alright now Nana Addo's government is playing same mind games as his master did his government has brought Ghs1 note and Ghs2 note to coins so that it will lose it value because the people's don't value coins like note just to increase taxes same as John Kufuor did. Lol this is funny and sad also for our country. USA is still using THE SAME DOLLARS AND CENT since so why do we always change our money type?
