Demolition Update – Krowor Municipality
On May 19, 2025, the MCE of Krowor Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ing. Paul Afotey Quaye led a demolition exercise at Okpoi Gonno to remove an illegally mounted shrine structure built on land designated for a storm drain project.
Though there was major resistance by some residents, the situation was swiftly managed with the support of the Kpeshie Divisional Police and the Nungua task force, allowing the operation to proceed smoothly.
This action is part of ongoing efforts to improve drainage and infrastructure within the municipality.

The official launch of the One Million Coders Program comes off on Wednesday, 16th April 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence Auditorium, opposite the Council of State.
This landmark event, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, will be graced by H.E. John D. Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, and Hon. Samuel N. George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations.
Attendance is strictly by invitation.
