COVER REVEAL

We are delighted to share the cover for ASANTEWAA YOUR TURN NOW.

In 1950s England, a young Ghanaian-British girl discovers that the past is far closer than she ever imagined.

Akosua, struggling to find her place between two worlds, encounters an ancient wooden stool that transports her into the era of Queen Yaa Asantewaa and the Anglo-Asante conflict. There, amid courage, sacrifice, betrayal, and love, she uncovers a history far richer and more powerful than she could have imagined.

Moving between the Windrush era and Victorian Britain, ASANTEWAA YOUR TURN NOW is a sweeping story of womanhood, identity, resilience, and the enduring power of reclaiming one's history.

Richly imagined and deeply moving, Bisi Adjapon's latest novel reminds us that sometimes the truest stories are the ones that have waited the longest to be told.
