Restrictions Ghana is most likely to face for passing anti-LGBTQ bill

▪️Biden & US is gonna declare Ghana as “unsafe for all humans”
▪️US is gonna cut immediate aid & investment
▪️travel restrictions imposed on all Ghanaian officials, politicians & civil servants
▪️suspension of loans & grants
▪️Ghana is gonna be coerced to abandon its values using money
▪️Tourists will be advised not to visit
▪️Foreign investors will take their businesses away
▪️Multinational companies won’t set up offices here again
▪️The economy will suffer

Unless we’ve got some solid resources to rely on, I don’t see how Ghana can withstand the heat! Sam George’s fight might just be fruitless!

I always ask myself, how do we create change if we don't want to change? How do spectate without being on the bench and how do we score without being on the field.
How do we pass on the baton to the next geration if we don't share our experience, how do we achieve without a clear path ahead. Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, delivered a statement to parliament today on Ghana’s performance at Afcon 2023.

He confirmed the following:

1. Ghana budgeted $8,506,450.00 for the tournament

2. $5,071,840.36 was released by Ministry of Finance

3. They spent $3,070,067.81 of it (mostly on per diems, flights, medicals, equipment, logistics and hospitality)

4. They returned the remaining US$2,001,772.55.

5. The minister also MTN gave them an additional $400,000, which he said “contributed immensely in complimenting Government's expenditure”. No idea what that means.
