Hon. Dr. Julius Debrah’s public journey did not begin at the Presidency. It was built gradually—through grassroots political work, parliamentary contests in Suhum, leadership in the Eastern Region, his work in tourism, service as Regional Minister for Eastern and Greater Accra, responsibility for Local Government and Rural Development, and eventually the Office of the Chief of Staff. Each chapter placed him in a different environment and demanded something different from him.
What makes his years of service so meaningful: he did not simply accumulate positions; he accumulated perspective. His experience in business, politics, local governance, national administration and now academia has given him different windows through which to understand Ghana and its people. Even his recent reflections on public service show a man still drawing from what the years have taught him. **For Hon. Dr. Julius Debrah, three decades have not simply been years spent serving Ghana—they have been years of learning what it truly means to carry responsibility for others**
