Did you know? Hon. Julius Debrah's story in public service is one of quiet impact and deliberate action.
As Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, he championed the National Sanitation Day initiative, he also led the Street Naming and Property Addressing Exercise, a transformative intervention that brought structure, visibility, and identity to communities while improving planning and access to services. His belief in decentralisation strengthened local governance and reinforced the principle that meaningful development must begin with the people at the grassroots.
Yet beyond the policies and programmes is a man many admire for something even greater: his humanity. From his contribution to the growth of tourism and the elevation of the Kwahu Easter celebrations into an important national economic platform- i.e Kwahu Business Forum. Hon. Julius Debrah has consistently demonstrated that leadership is ultimately about service to people. . Long after offices change hands and titles fade into history, it is these qualities that endure in the memories of people.
Seeing beyond the surface.
