I had a heartfelt and deeply reflective conversation with Tucci Ivowi — an international business leader, strategic advisor, and powerful communicator — on the SMARTER Leadership Podcast.

From personal experiences to lessons drawn from the classroom and the guidance of mentors, I opened up about my journey, struggles, and growth.

Time and time again, God reminds me that He is the one steering my life.

I’ve had moments where I pushed and strived so hard for things only for them to slip through my fingers.

And then, just when I least expect it, from places and people I never imagined, comes an opportunity I didn’t even dream of yet perfect for that moment.

It’s in those times that I’m reminded: it’s not because I’m so smart, capable, or deserving. It’s simply grace.

I’m grateful for another year of life.
To God be the glory. His name be praised. 🙏🏾

Had an insightful discussion with Khadi Camara, Head of Anglophone West Africa at the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft (German - African Business Association) She shared how the organisation has, for over 90 years, played a key role in fostering business collaborations between Germany and Africa. In recent months, they’ve held engagements with the President of Ghana and several Ministers of State to explore deeper partnerships — a clear sign of Germany’s growing interest in strengthening ties with Ghana and the broader West African region.Encouraged by the momentum and looking forward to the opportunities ahead

I flew with Brussels Airlines on my trip to Germany, and I must say—it lived up to every good thing I’d heard.

From check-in to landing, the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. The cabin crew were professional and warm, the meals were well-prepared, and you could tell the pilots knew exactly what they were doing. Even the little details from the cockpit sparked my curiosity and admiration.

Truly loved every moment of it.
Highly recommend

I had the honour of engaging in a thoughtful conversation with Serap Güler, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, during the Reception for Representatives of the African Diplomatic Corps held at DIHK in Berlin.

With Ambassadors and high-level diplomats from across Africa in attendance, the atmosphere reflected a strong spirit of collaboration and shared vision.

Our discussion focused on Germany’s growing interest in strengthening its ties with Ghana — exploring how increased collaboration can bring mutual benefits across diplomacy, skills exchange, and economic partnerships.

Truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of these high-level conversations shaping the future of Ghana–Germany relations

Right after senior high school, John chose a path that aligned with the future — he trained to become a solar technician.

His hard work paid off when he got a rare opportunity: to be part of a pilot internship project in Germany.

With support from Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) John improved his German to the required B1 level and successfully joined the program.

He later returned to Ghana, and through the support of AHK Ghana — who liaised with his company — he was able to go back to Germany to work with Philipps as a solar technician.

John’s story is proof that the right training and the right opportunity can create powerful change.

Big thanks to the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) for helping young Ghanaians shine — both at home and abroad.
