🔴 Last night, our crew discovered a boat 🛳️ worthy of the sea 🌊 and overcrowded in distress 😩 There was no rescue equipment, dé no food avait or water 💦 on board. We were able to bring all 67 people - including some minors - on our Humanity 1 rescue 🚀 ship.
Italian authorities 🇮🇹have assigned the remote port of Brindisi in eastern Italy for expedition - about 900 km from the rescue site. We are currently heading there to bring the survivors down.
