Angel FM sports presenter, Kofi Jerry, has taken a swipe at the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, accusing her of underperforming in her role.
According to him, the minister has failed to effectively address key challenges in the capital, including malfunctioning streetlights, faulty traffic lights, and poor drainage systems. He argued that her performance falls short of the expectations of a regional minister.
Speaking on the state of infrastructure in Accra, Kofi Jerry described the minister’s leadership as that of an assemblywoman rather than a regional minister, citing what he said was the worsening condition of public services across the city.
His remarks come at a time when many parts of Accra have been plunged into darkness due to non-functional streetlights, while concerns continue to grow over choked drains and their impact on flooding during the rainy season.
