: KASOA TUBA DOMESTIC FIRE INCIDENT UNDER CONTROL
A distress call was received at 0304 hours regarding a fire involving the top floor of a one-storey residential building at Kasoa Tuba near Fulani Junction.
Despite the temporary unavailability of the Kasoa and Weija Fire Tenders, firefighters from the Anyaa Fire Station were promptly dispatched and arrived at 0339 hours to meet a fully developed fire.
At 0530 hours, the combined efforts of firefighters from the Anyaa, Amasaman, and Circle Fire Stations successfully brought the fire under control.
One female occupant who sustained injuries after attempting to escape from the first floor has been handed over to the National Ambulance Service for medical attention and onward transportation to a nearby health facility.
Overhaul operations are ongoing to completely extinguish remaining hotspots and ensure full safety at the scene.
