*OFFICIAL UPDATE ON OUR NATIONAL PETITION*

We are pleased to inform the public that the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana (Jubilee House) has formally acknowledged receipt of our (The Challenged Foundation) national petition on Accessible Education and Public Facilities for Persons with Disabilities.

In its response, the Office of the President has forwarded our petition https://www.change.org/OpenTheDoorsForPWDs to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection for consideration and necessary action, in line with its mandate.

This acknowledgment confirms that the concerns raised by persons with disabilities and their allies have been formally received at the highest level of government and are now within the official government process.

We thank everyone who signed, shared, and supported this petition. Advocacy is a journey, and this marks an important step forward.
Together, we will continue to engage responsibly and persistently until accessibility and inclusion are fully realized in Ghana.
