King Ayisoba’s use of the kologo (two-stringed lute) and indigenous sounds was a breakthrough, putting traditional music on the map! 🌟 But we need to ensure that Kologo music and other traditional genres don’t just fade into the background. Ara-B, once a close member of the Shatta Movement, clashed with Shatta’s then-partner, and when he responded to insults, Shatta Wale had him arrested. This really hurt Ara-B, as he felt betrayed by someone he saw as a brother. 😢 The beef worsened after Ara-B’s comments in the media were twisted, suggesting he had “made” Shatta Wale, which only deepened the rift.
