A family went to the mountains.

They never came back.

According to the image circulating on social media, a father and son reportedly fell from a mountain while attempting to retrieve an iPhone. The mother also tragically lost her life.

If the account is accurate, it is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly an ordinary moment can turn into a devastating tragedy.

The lesson is not simply about the value of an iPhone.

It is about how easily a phone, a photograph, or the desire to capture the perfect moment can make us forget about our own safety.
