๐Ÿ” OSP GRILLS PAUL ADOM-OTCHERE!

Former GACL Board Chair Paul Adom-Otchere has been summoned by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) over the controversial audit deal involving Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML).

๐Ÿ“„ A letter from the OSP dated 25th July labeled him a suspect in the corruption-related probe into the GACLโ€“SML contract.

๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€โš–๏ธ Adom-Otchere was to appear on Thursday, July 31, but has asked for an extension to Monday, August 4, due to a court commitment in Kumasi.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ In his response, he said he was โ€œsurprisedโ€ to be singled out, claiming that contract decisions were taken by the GACL management โ€“ not him alone.

๐Ÿ“ฐ Supreme Court Declares King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as Lawful Ga Mantse

In a major ruling delivered on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, the Supreme Court has officially affirmed King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as the legitimate Ga Mantse, bringing clarity to years of dispute over the Ga stool.

The court quashed earlier legal attempts to reinstate Nii Tackie Adama Latse II, declaring those decisions unconstitutional due to a lack of fair hearing. The judgment emphasized that no individual should be reinstated into traditional authority without proper legal notice and due process.

This ruling solidifies the leadership of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, known privately as Kelvin Nii Tackie Abia, as the rightful head of the Ga State. His recognition strengthens not only the traditional leadership structure but also restores calm and legitimacy within the Ga community.

COOP Media will continue to monitor developments as the Ga State moves forward under confirmed leadership.
