The lawyer for the Kantaka family, Nana Kofi Kantaka has in an interview with Joy News explained what really happened in the case of Adwoa Safo being allegedly sh+t.

According to the lawyer, Adwoa Safo had come to the venue where her half brother, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena was being introduced to the council of elders of the Kristo Asafo movement as the next leader.

During the ceremony, they all heard loud bangs at the gate only to rush out and see that, someone was trying to drive her way through the gates.

When they realised it was Adwoa Safo, the security on the premises ordered her to stop as she could collide into the crowd but she refused, so in response, the security on the ground also f^red warning sh+ts in a bid to stop her craziness.

When the lawyer was asked if reports that Adwoa Safo was injured from and was in the hospital, he responded by saying that, he cannot confirm that but what he was told that is that, warning sh+t were f+red because of the commotion she was causing on the grounds.

Earlier Graphic had reported that, a close family source had told them that the former MP had been sh+t but did so under anonymity.

Details of which hospital she was rushed to, or the severity of her condition is unknown at this moment.

In the meantime, Nana Kwadwo Safo has been installed as the leader of the Kristo Safe movement, despite a court injunction and we are yet to see what becomes of that also.

Honestly, Côte d’Ivoire will be disappointed with this result. They created good chances and could have scored more, but they failed to take them. Against a strong team like Germany, if you waste opportunities, you get punished. Germany were clinical when it mattered most and that's why they won 2-1. As a Ghanaian, I think Côte d’Ivoire played well, but football is about taking your chances. They need to improve their finishing in the next match.
