GNACOPS, Kaysports, and Glico Insurance Launch Private Schools Sports (PS) :
In a groundbreaking initiative to promote sports development in private schools, the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), in partnership with Kaysports and Glico Insurance, has launched Private Schools Sports (PS). The launch event took place at the University of Ghana's Mensah Sarbah Park, bringing together a host of dignitaries and sports personalities.
Notable figures in attendance included former Kotoko player Jordan Opoku, President of the African Arm Wrestling Federation Charles Osei Asibey, football administrator Kwame Baah Nuako, Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority Seth Panwum, and a representative from the Ghana Football Association.
Chairman of the occasion, Roland Akosah, expressed his excitement about the initiative, pledging his support and emphasizing that this program will help identify and develop young talents.
Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, National Executive Director of GNACOPS, reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing private education through sports, stating that sports play a vital role in the holistic development of students.
CEO of Kaysports, Mr. Kwame Owusu Ameyaw, highlighted that the program will serve as a platform to unearth hidden talents, contributing significantly to Ghana's sports industry.
Speaking on behalf of Glico Insurance, Managing Director Mr. Andrew Kyei assured that Glico is proud to be part of the initiative, offering insurance coverage to young athletes, ensuring their safety as they pursue their sporting dreams.
With PS (Private Schools Sports), GNACOPS, Kaysports, and Glico Insurance are shaping the future of sports in private schools, providing a pathway for young athletes to excel on both national and international stages.
