Druski has officially been announced as the host of the 2026 BET Awards, a major moment in the comedian’s fast-rising career. BET confirmed that the popular content creator will host the ceremony on June 28, 2026, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The announcement has already generated excitement online, with many fans praising BET for choosing someone who represents the new generation of entertainment and internet culture. Known for his viral comedy skits, livestream moments, celebrity collaborations, and unique personality, Druski has become one of the most influential digital entertainers in recent years.

What makes his journey even more inspiring is how he built his platform largely through social media. Without following the traditional Hollywood route, he transformed short comedy videos and relatable content into a global brand that now places him on one of the biggest entertainment stages in the world.

Many people see this as proof that the entertainment industry is evolving, with digital creators now receiving the same recognition once reserved mainly for television personalities and movie stars. Supporters also believe Druski’s humor, confidence, and unpredictable energy could bring a refreshing atmosphere to this year’s BET Awards.

From internet skits to hosting one of Black entertainment’s most prestigious award shows, Druski’s rise continues to show how consistency, creativity, and audience connection can change a creator’s life completely.

Speaking during an interview on radio, Bullet openly expressed disappointment in Stonebwoy, claiming he supported and signed the artiste after his exit from Samini’s camp because he believed in his potential. According to Bullet, despite the help and opportunities given to Stonebwoy at the time, their relationship later became strained. He alleged that when they reached out to Stonebwoy for a verse for late singer Ebony Reigns, the request was ignored, something he described as painful, disappointing, and disrespectful considering the support he had previously offered.

Leadership is not only about standing in front of the cameras or receiving appointments; it is about accepting responsibility, influencing lives positively, and contributing to a vision bigger than yourself. Every opportunity to serve is also an opportunity to prove commitment, loyalty, hard work, and dedication to the people who believe in that vision.

As individuals continue to earn positions within important teams and movements, the expectation becomes greater. The public watches not only the titles people hold, but also the impact they make, the discipline they show, and the values they represent. Being chosen to serve within a leadership structure is a sign of trust, confidence, and belief in one’s ability to contribute meaningfully toward progress and transformation.

Success in leadership is built through unity, consistency, communication, and service to the people. True influence comes when actions align with purpose and when individuals use their platforms to inspire hope, encourage development, and promote positive change in society.

Shatta Wale claps back at George Britton and this is why!

Tension in Ghana’s entertainment industry continues to rise after Shatta Wale openly accused George Britton of allegedly trying to sabotage one of his major opportunities. According to Shatta Wale, there were attempts behind the scenes to interfere with his Infinix contract, but despite everything, the plan reportedly failed.

In the emotional statement, Shatta Wale made it clear that he never depended on George Britton for promotion, support, or validation. He questioned why someone he considers unfriendly would continuously involve themselves in his journey while allegedly trying to block his progress at the same time.

The dancehall artiste also suggested that there have been several attempts over the years to damage his brand and bring him down, yet he believes his resilience, influence, and fanbase have kept him standing strong. By saying “I’m not your ordinary artist,” Shatta Wale was emphasizing that pressure, criticism, and alleged sabotage are not enough to break him or slow down his success.

The statement has since sparked conversations online, with fans debating whether the comments reveal deeper issues within Ghana’s entertainment industry — where competition, personal differences, and public criticism often collide behind closed doors.

For many observers, this is more than just another celebrity disagreement. It reflects the growing tension, power struggles, and mistrust that sometimes exist within the entertainment space, where public support and private rivalry can coexist at the same time.

In recent remarks, Linda Ocloo cautioned public officials against approving illegal developments and failing in their duties, stressing that such actions could attract disciplinary measures, including transfers to the Northern regions. According to her, accountability must remain at the center of public service, and no official should feel above the rules that govern their office.

The statement quickly sparked reactions across the country, with many interpreting it as suggesting that postings to the North are a form of punishment. This perception raised concerns about fairness and respect for all regions, especially given the importance of national unity and equal regard for every part of Ghana.

In response to the backlash, she clarified that her comment was a slip in communication and did not reflect her true intention or any official government policy. She explained that her aim was to emphasize discipline and responsibility in public office, not to demean any region or its people.

This moment highlights a broader issue in leadership and communication—how quickly words can shape public perception and trigger national conversations. It also reinforces the need for clarity, sensitivity, and accountability, not only in actions but in speech.

At the heart of it all, the message remains: public office comes with responsibility, and systems must ensure that those entrusted with power act within the law. How that message is delivered, however, can be just as important as the message itself.

MTN Ghana, let’s actually talk. Because at this point it’s not even funny again.

How is it that someone will buy data—fresh, untouched, full bundle—and before you even open anything serious, it’s already halfway gone? No downloads, no streaming, no hotspot, nothing. Just small scrolling, maybe WhatsApp, maybe checking one or two things, and boom… “You have 20MB remaining.” Remaining from what exactly??

And don’t even bring that “background apps” explanation every time. Because how can background apps be working harder than the actual user? Am I using the phone or is the phone using itself? Because the way data disappears on this network, it feels like there’s a silent meeting going on behind the scenes where my MBs are being shared without my permission.

You wake up, you buy data. You’re happy. You say “today I’ll enjoy small.” Next thing, one 20 minutes later, you’re receiving that painful message like your data has gone through hardship and couldn’t survive. No warning, no breakdown, no clear explanation—just vibes and sudden poverty.

And the most annoying part? There’s no proper transparency. Just “you’ve used your data.” Used it how? Where? On what exactly? Because if you check your usage, it still doesn’t match the reality. It’s like doing math and getting confused because the answer doesn’t answer.

Ghana, people are not complaining for fun. This thing is consistent. Too consistent to ignore. If it’s apps, tell us clearly. If it’s system processes, break it down. If it’s something else, just be honest. Because right now, it feels like we are buying data that comes with mystery attached to it.

At this point, using data feels like trying to hold water in your hands—no matter how careful you are, it still disappears.

And even can this screenshot data history amount to 2gig?

So Ghana, respectfully… what exactly is going on? 🤨
