πŸ”Š πŸ”Š πŸ”Š 10 months salary of Newly Posted Teachers: Hon. Haruna Iddrisu talked about salary delay

During a session at the Parliament House, Honorable Haruna Iddrisu revealed that efforts are underway to validate information and address the issue of fictitious entries on the payroll. The existence of such entries is being tackled, and the delay in salary payments is attributed to the expiration of financial clearance before the conclusion of the year 2024.

Explaining the delay, he pointed out that there are inconsistencies in dates of birth and SSNIT numbers, not to mention discrepancies involving the Ghana card, and the self-posting done by the Newly Posted Teachers.

For hope to the affected Newly Posted Teachers, the Minister of Education, Honorable Haruna Iddrisu, state that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has completed the data validation process and is currently awaiting financial clearance to facilitate the payment of salaries to the newly appointed teachers affected by this situation.
