FDA Suspends Production of Tasty Tom Enriched Tomato Mix — Orders Immediate Market Recall

Tension arose at the Nyariga market in the Upper East Region on Thursday morning when police arrived to transport the body of a young man suspected of having been shot during an attempted robbery.

Preliminary information suggests that the deceased was a pillion rider allegedly trying to sn**ch a motorcycle. It remains unclear whether he was shot by his intended victim or by another party, but residents reported hearing gunshots during the night.

The motorcycle rider, believed to have escaped the attack, has been asked by the police to assist with the investigation as authorities work to clarify the events surrounding the incident.

Some residents expressed shock upon discovering the lifeless body at the market. This incident has sparked a mix of fear and curiosity among locals, many of whom are calling for increased security measures in the area.

The body has been transported to the mortuary for preservation and an autopsy as police continue their investigations.
