There’s a season in your life where you don’t know exactly when things went wrong, but you know they’re not right either. You’re not completely lost, yet you’re not found. You believe in God, but your actions don’t always agree with your faith. Your heart is arguing with your mind, and you’re stuck somewhere in between who you are and who you’re trying to become.
You know what’s right. You’ve heard the teachings, read the scriptures, and said the prayers. Yet there are days you still choose comfort over discipline and escape over responsibility. It’s not that you don’t love God; it’s that you’re still learning how to let go of the things that love you back a little too much. So you try, fail, repent, and try again, wondering if this cycle means you’re weak or just human.
Some days you feel strong and hopeful. Other days, you question your calling, your sincerity, and whether you’re even qualified for the future you dream of. You pray, but sometimes your prayers feel heavy, like they have to pass through doubt before reaching heaven. You watch people around you grow and move forward, and quietly you wonder if growth has forgotten you—or if you’re the one resisting it.
Here’s the truth: knowing the right thing and doing the right thing are not the same. The space between them is where most people struggle. That’s where confusion lives, where guilt whispers, and where grace patiently waits. You’re not rebellious. You’re human. And transformation is rarely instant. Faith isn’t always loud.
So if you find yourself aware of your flaws, tired of your excuses, yet still hopeful enough to believe you can grow—hold on to that. You don’t need all the answers. If you’re still struggling, there’s a good chance you’re still growing. And most times, real change doesn’t start with perfection. It starts with honesty.
