Sweeps 7/8 Seats of The Urban/Area Council Member Presiding of AAKD urban /area council elections.

NDC assembly members of Abura Asebu Kwamankese District sn**ch 7 seats out of the 8 of the Area Council Member Presiding of AAKD urban/area council elections held on Wednesday 29th May, 2024 at the various councils head as stated by the Local Government Act 936, 2016 Article 3, clause 4. The new Member Presidings are as follows:

The heavy downpour and the strong storm yesterday has caused havock at the Abura Batanyia Chip Center. The strong storm removed some of the roofing sheets thereby allowing the rains to enter some of the rooms. As a result of this, they had no option but to halt their duties.
The Assembly member for the electoral area Hon. Godlove Benson is by this appealing to individuals and cooperate bodies to come to their aid as we have entered the rainy season.
He also added that, he is appealing to the assembly to kindly speed up in the ongoing new health facility at Wusorkrom Junction which is intended to serve the people of the electoral area.

He was recently voted as a unit committee member for Batanyaa Electoral Area. Mr Douglas Egyir is currently a B.ED Primary Education final year student of Komenda College of Education, Komenda.
