Today, I received a call from a woman claiming that her son-in-law mistakenly sent money into my MTN MoMo account.
She started pleading, crying, and begging me to send the money back immediately.
But here is the TRUTH πŸ‘‡
❌ I never received any money
❌ No alert, no balance increase
❌ Just emotional manipulation
This is a common MoMo scam technique.
They will:
πŸ”Ή Cry and beg
πŸ”Ή Sound very innocent
πŸ”Ή Add family stories
πŸ”Ή Rush you to send money
⚠️ IMPORTANT ADVICE:
βœ… Always check your MoMo balance
βœ… Never send money you didn’t receive
βœ… MTN will NEVER ask you to reverse via call
βœ… Report suspicious calls to MTN immediately
