Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG)-Volta has commended President John Dramani Mahama for his deliberate and historic visit to the Ho Sports Stadium and for committing to a clear timeline for its redevelopment.

The planned redevelopment will transform the Ho Sports Stadium into a “befitting, modern, multi-use sports complex.”

SWAG-Volta calls on all stakeholders to rally behind the President’s promise to ensure its speedy commencement.

Today, at Amokyekrom in Worcester - Massachusetts, the United States Branch of the Sports Writers Assocaition of Ghana (SWAG-USA) will be inaugurated by the President of SWAG Mr. Kwabena Yeboah.

Under the acting chairmanship of Davis Odeneho Appiah, the event is expected to bring together top guests and sports journalists across the United States.

Mr. Kwabena Yeboah will be joined by SWAG Exco Owuraku Nsiah and others.
