What does tomorrow have in store?
He wrote somewhere about
tomorrow
The fear of tomorrow
it's daunting
who will I be next week, next month, next year
hopeful, happy, smiling
or
drowning in
worry, misery, pain
my interpretation
of all the things that could happen
that may happen
or may not happen
what if I wake up
and the earth forgets to turn
a fear of tomorrow
a prison of maybes
where will I be five years from now
the cars, the cash, the luxury
will I finally have it all
or
will I be where I am now
sad, alone, tired
dragging myself to yet another
tomorrow
