Government is considering handing over the Gold Fields Tarkwa mine to local companies after the current lease expires.

This would be one of the best decisions, and I hope President Mahama does not renew any lease. Let them return to their country. We have competent Ghanaians who can manage our resources and create jobs for our own people.

🇬🇭 JUST IN:

Five students of Central University have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) over their alleged involvement in a cannabis distribution ring operating on campus.

The suspects, who are in Levels 100, 300, and 400, are alleged to have produced and sold cannabis-infused products, including ice cream, sobolo, toffees, pepper, eggs, and raw cannabis.

During the operation, NACOC officials seized suspected narcotic substances, which have been sent for forensic analysis. Investigations are currently ongoing.
