Heartbreaking but this is what I understand so far based on the circulating videos:

The students started demonstrating in the school.
The principal called the police. (alleged)
The police arrived and arrested some of the students.

These are some reasons that could lead to such arrests:

1. The organizers may not have notified the police before the demonstration as required by law.
2. The demonstration may have turned violent or posed a threat to public order.
3. Some participants may have disobeyed lawful police directions or resisted the police.

The scenes in some of the videos are unfortunate as some students were throwing objects at the police. However, it is also important to remember that the police have a legal duty to maintain law and order and protect lives and property.

These are my observation from the trending videos about the arrest of some nursing students at Techiman.
