In A Monster at Midnight, readers are gripped with suspense till the very end.

Phila is pulled away from her best friends, stuck on holiday in her grandma’s village, bored and counting the days until she can go back home.

Then comes the story the village kids tell to frighten each other.
The warnings follow.
The night grows quieter.
The clock edges closer to midnight.
Phila feels a tightness in her chest.

The clock strikes midnight.
Teasing turns into terror.
And now Phila must find the courage to face the unknown.

🕛 A monster is coming at midnight…
🏃🏽‍♀️ RUN, PHILA, RUN!

Written by brilliant South African author, Bontle Senne and illustratted by reknowned Nigerian illustrator, Segun Samson.

This is the Christmas gift that doesn’t get forgotten because kids will read it again… and again… all year long 🎄

There’s so much to love!

▪️A curious little zebra who wants to be the most special zebra in the Serengeti.
▪️A paint-loving hippo with a wildly colourful paint palette and even wilder ideas.
▪️ Laughing monkeys. An unexpected hunter. And a plane ride they’ll never forget.

Bahiya the Little Zebra is vibrant and full of imagination. A story about self-confidence, self-acceptance, and learning to love who you already are.

It's Christmas day. Bedtime 🌙 The lights are off. Then you hear it:

"Pleeease can I read just ONE more chapter?"

This is that book. ✨

Meet Jama and Ufulu, two brave, curious kids in Johannesburg whose chance encounter near a suspicious house changes everything.

A pink jacket. A mysterious key. A scribbled note.

What starts as curiosity becomes an adventure involving friendship, courage, and a real mystery that'll keep young readers turning pages. (Spoiler: it involves rhino horn smuggling 👀)

Written by Golden Baobab Prize–winning author Karen Hurt and illustrated by Setor Fiadzigbey.

We’re honored to announce that the opening remarks for our print book launch will be given by the former Governor General of Canada, the Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson.
Serving as Governor General of Canada from 1999 to 2005, Madame Clarkson is the first non-white Canadian Governor General, the second female, and the first without a military or political background. A leading figure in Canada's cultural life, Madame Clarkson had a rich and distinguished career in the arts and the public service. She is the author of several books and we are thrilled to have her grace our event and lend her support to promoting African children’s literature.
