Five suspected kidnappers have been arrested at Suhum, with two victims rescued.

Police intercepted a foreign pistol, forged currency notes, GHC4,600 cash, a cutlass, talismans, five mobile phones, and an unregistered Acura 4×4 vehicle during the sting operation.

The suspects are: Suleman Salifu (24), Godfred Owusu (26), Antwi Bismark (27), Anas Salis (38), and Gyamfi Isaac (33).

The operation led to the successful rescue of the victims, Seidu Sambiane (28) and Ibrahim Alhassan (42), unharmed.

The suspected kidnappers had allegedly demanded GHC400,000 ransom from family of the two victims.

Who or which authority is responsible for the type of cars that can be used for commercial purposes? Or anyone with money who can buy any car ca automatically just put the car on the road and that's it? Because if you look at some of the cars that are used for commercial purposes you begin to as yourself questions.

Is it every car that is suitable for commercial use? For example this wave of Toyota Voxy in town and how many of them are having accidents here and there.
The experts should educate us please.

Roads in Eastern Region are just terrible.

This part of the Bypass is very bad on the Somanya To Kpong Road. Cars are falling into it. Awetsɛ John Atteh Matey(Lower Manya MCE) it’s causing traffic as well. Please fix this for us. This is on the road connecting Agomanya Ablotsi to Agomanya Airport.

It’s been like this for a while now. We waited to see it will be fixed, but so far it’s been ignored. People are now putting stones and gravel in the gutter to fix the broken bridge. This is blocking the flow of water. If it rains, it will cause flooding in people’s homes.

5 persons who impersonated NAIMOS officers granted bail by Kyebi Court

The bail was granted on two sureties each, workers who earn salaries between 3000 Ghana cedis and 4000 Ghana cedis. Prosecutor Detective Chief Inspector Kamal Salifu Gumah of the Eastern South legal prosecution unit presented facts of the case and charges. The accused pleaded not guilty to all four counts- Conspiracy to commit crime, contrary to section 23 and 15 (1) of the criminal code offenses act 1960 ( Act 29), Extotion contrary to section 15 (1) of the criminal offenses act 1960 ( 29), Conspiracy to commit crime and falsely pretending to be public officers , contrary to section 237 of the criminal offences act....

We are receiving more compliants from many customers and residents who rely on the service of Zoomlion Ghana Limited to collect their refuse at a monthly fee. But What seem to be a mutual agreement has now turned into a burden for these residents because for the past weeks and months Zoomlion has not been collecting their refuse and still chase their clients to Pay their monthly fees.

Something must be done about this.
