When God wanted to create the fish, he spoke to the sea. When he wanted to create the trees he spoke to the earth (Genesis 1)but when he wanted to create us he spoke to himself. When you take a fish out of the sea, it dies. When you take the tree out of the earth it dies. Then when we go away from God we also die.
