Following the expiration of the six months emergency rule declared in Rivers State Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on 18th March 2025 and the announcement of the cessation of the emergency rule by the president, a mammoth crowd of cheering Supporters gathered at the Rivers State government House in Port Harcourt to Welcome the governor as he resumes office today 18th September 2025.

Meanwhile the former Sole Administrator appointed by the president allegedly swore in new Rivers State Head of service midnight, just few minutes to the expiration of the emergency rule.

Rivers people are so excited to see their democratically elected governor back in office six months after he was illegally suspended from office.

Nigerian chef and former world record holder for marathon cooking with 93 hours, 11 minutes in 2023, Hilda Baci, has made her way back into the record books as Guinness World Record holder for Largest Serving Of Nigerian Style Jollof Rice.

Hilda Baci collaborated with Gino Nigeria to achieve the feat, she said it took her and her team about nine hours for the largest pot of jollof rice to get ready, weighing about 8,780 kg. She further explained that making her mother proud is what inspired her. 🥰😍🥰

Hilda Baci is at it again, she is currently cooking the world's largest pot of jollof rice at Eko Hotels and Suites Lagos. She is preparing about 200 bags of basmati rice for the world's largest jollof festival, with mammoth crowd cheering her and her team.

Hilda Baci is the former holder of Guinness world record for marathon cooking with 93 hours 11 minutes in May 2023.

An Irish chef, Alan Fisher surpassed her with about 120 hours of cooking later in 2023.

She was prevent from entering the senate chamber after the expiration of the six months suspension.

Senator Natasha Uduaghan had accused the senate president of s€xual h@rrassment before she was suspended by the senate on March 6, 2025 for alleged insubordination and was stripped of her aides, salary and office privileges.
