HOW TO BE SMART IN ARGUMENT

1. Stay calm. Even if you get passionate about your point you must stay cool and in command of your emotions.

2. Use facts as evidence for your position. Facts, statistics, and quotes from credible sources and people are useful tools to deploy in support of your case.

3. Ask questions. If you can ask the right questions, you can stay in control of the discussion and make your opponent scramble for answers.

4. Use logic. Show how one idea follows another. Build your case and use logic to undermine your opponent.

5. Listen carefully. Do not so much focus on what to say and ignore the points of others. It is better to listen carefully. You will observe weaknesses and flaws in their position and sometimes you will hear something new and informative.

6. Be prepared to concede a good point. Don’t argue every point for the sake argument.

7. Study your opponent. Know their strengths, weaknesses, beliefs, and values. You will understand why they are making their points and position. Use the knowledge to decide if it worth proceeding with the arguments or giving it up if it doesn’t worth the stress and energy.

8. Look for a win-win. Be open-minded to a compromise position that accommodates your main points and some of your opponent’s.

9. Do not take it personal. Direct attacks on your opponent’s lifestyle, integrity or honesty should be avoided. Attack the issue not the person.

10. Do not get distracted. Your opponent may try to throw you off balance by introducing new and extraneous themes. You must be firm and avoid deviating to something else.

The human brain can store around 2.5 petabytes of data, that's 2.5 million gigabytes of storage capacity.

When you convert this into TV shows, 2.5 million gigabytes of data is equivalent to 300 years' worth of TV shows.

This storage capacity comes from the synapses that are happening between the neurons in the brain. Synapses are responsible for transmitting messages between neurons.

On average, the brain consists of 86 billion neurons that make up over 100 trillion connections. In other words, each neuron is capable of forming around 1,000 connections, which translates to 1,000 potential synapses.

There are around 125 trillion synapses in the brain. Each synapse can store up to 4.7 bits of information.

Scientists hope to use this knowledge to build energy-efficient computers that rely on deep learning and artificial neural networks to process and store data. Information storage is not limited to the brain.

In fact, your DNA can also store data. DNA could store all of the world's data in a single room, making it a powerful way to store information in the future.

A single gram of DNA can store up to 215 petabytes, which is equivalent to 215 million gigabytes of data. Scientists are now able to convert digital content into information that can be stored in DNA. In a recent study, researchers encoded a 52,000-word book in thousands of snippets of DNA.

They first converted the book into binary code with 0s and 1s and then stored this information using DNA’s four-letter alphabet of A, G, T, and C

If your bathroom is tiled- Read this!!!

1. When your phone rings, never be in haste to pick up. No matter how important the call is, even if it is a million dollar worth of call. Let your phone ring, you can always call back.

2. Get a different type of tiles for your bathroom. Tilers can help you. Avoid smooth tiles. If what you have is a smooth tiles, change it ASAP!

3. Get bathroom slippers. There are slippers for bathroom. Not the random slippers you wear in your streets. These slippers are designed in such a way that when you step in them, it grips the floor.

4. Avoid raising one leg in the attempt of washing and scrubbing it. This particular one has sent many people to their early grave. If you need to scrub your legs, bend down with your legs gripped to the floor or sit in your bath tub to wash your legs.

5. Avoid your bathroom from getting wet at all times. For those who have their WATER-CLOSET combined with the shower/ bath tub. Don’t spill water everywhere in the name of bathing.

6. There is nothing so important in the world when you are in the bathroom. No running. Walk gently.

6. Get a towel. A towel same size just as the one you use in drying your body or even bigger. Place at the entrance of your bathroom. It is wise to always dry your feet before moving out to any other part of the house.

7. If you have kids below 7, never let them in the bathroom alone. As in, never!

8. Don’t take your phone in. Either you are bathing or you are not. Do not go in with your phone. Your Phone is a big distraction.

9. Wash your face separately. You must not have soap on your face while you are also washing other part of your body. Important to have your eyes open at all times.

10. Do not dance. Many are guilty of this. PLEASE STOP IT!

11. If you must sing, don’t sing religiously.
