Photos: Government has set in motion an initiative to reduce Ghana’s reliance on imported vegetables with the launch of the Vegetable Development Project.
President Mahama at the launch said it’s aimed at boosting the local production of tomatoes, onions, peppers and other vegetables whilst creating jobs. The project is designed to be completed within twelve months and will be replicated in different parts of the country.
