A mason has reportedly lost his life after touching a high-tension cable while working on a one-storey building in the Ashale Botwe Old Town Area.

According to local reports, a carpenter also died under similar circumstances at the same construction site years ago, sparking renewed concerns about safety standards. Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are currently on-site to retrieve the body and begin investigations into the tragedy.
