A 35-year-old married woman, Faustina Richster almost lost her finger after a wedding ring she bought from a friend to replace hers suddenly started tightening her finger at a fast pace at Kasoa in the Central Region.

Faustina Richster revealed that her original wedding ring had gotten lost for some months now, hence she contacted her friend who sold it to her for replacement.

In an interview with Kasapa News, the victim said after putting on the ring, her finger started swelling after a day.

Faustina Richster said all effort to remove the stuck ring from her finger yielded no results.
Suspecting there could be some spiritual reasons for the incident, libation was poured to deal with the forces possibly responsible.

It took the intervention of medical officers from Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital and pastors who engaged in a prayer warfare before the ring was successfully cut off to free her shrinking finger.

Expressing his view on the development, popular entertainment journalist and pundit Arnold Asamoah-baidoo asserted that the craft of Blacko during his performance could be a marketing strategy and not necessarily how the conversation is being directed.

The CEO of Big Concerts International in Cape Town, Attie van Wyk, has joined the global chorus in the entertainment industry paying tribute following the death of the Queen of Rock 'n Roll, Tina Turner. The 83 year-old legendary singer died earlier this week at her home in Switzerland following a long illness. Turner performed locally in 1996. Van Wyk says she was a down to earth person and not a diva at all: "We are deeply saddened with the passing of Tina Turner, all of us have fond memories of working with her on her three-stadium shows in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in 1996. I specifically recall what a wonderful, warm, humble and down to earth person she was, not a diva at all. I remember the most amazing wardrobe she travelled with and her love for shoes, we're gonna miss you Tina with our love and deepest sympathy as we remember- Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock & Roll, rest in peace."

Otumfuo Osei Tutu Asks British Museum To Return Gold Items Pillaged From Ashanti Kingdom.
Osei Tutu II, the Ashanti king, has asked the British Museum to return gold items taken from Manhyia during the third Anglo-Ashanti war that occurred from 1873 to 1874.
Many sacred and precious gold items belonging to the Ashanti people were pillaged from the Manhyia Palace by the triumphant British army.
According to the BBC, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II met the director of the British Museum Dr Hartwig Fischer after attending the Coronation of King Charles to discuss how the precious gold items may be returned.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh reported in a separate story that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his lovely wife Lady Julia met King Charles III at Buckingham Palace on May 4, 2023.
