Tension continues to rise over the proposed demolition at the Osu Klottey Beach enclave as traditional leaders, government officials, and stakeholders step in to seek clarity and accountability.

In a meeting led by the President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs, Prof. Nii Odaifio Welentsi, together with the Greater Accra Regional Minister, MPs for Osu Klottey and La Dadekotopon, representatives from the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, and other key stakeholders, concerns surrounding the redevelopment project were thoroughly discussed.

At the center of the discussions was Mr. Clement Gyato, who has been directed to present all official documents and approvals connected to the proposed demolition exercise.

The meeting highlighted growing public interest in the future of the Osu Klottey Beach area, with authorities emphasizing transparency, lawful procedures, and stakeholder engagement before any redevelopment takes place.

Residents and observers now await the next course of action as discussions surrounding the controversial redevelopment project continue.
