● The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)

● Divine wisdom is the product of the fear of God.

● Anyone who claims to be wise should have something to show for his or her claim.

● The opening scripture provides one of the ways we can measure wisdom; that is, any person who claims to be wise should be a soul winner.

● Who is a soul winner?

● Dear beloved, a soul winner is a Christian who has dedicated his or her life to influence people to do the will of God.

● The will of God is for people to come to the knowledge of the salvation of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

● The will of God is also for His people to live in the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

● His will is to help the needy and free people from poverty, injustice, and all kinds of suffering (Psalm 82:3-4).

● Dearly beloved, if you claim you are wise, you will engage in winning souls, because winning souls opens doors for you to enjoy all the blessings of God.

📌 GIST - Have You Stopped Confessing and Believing?

● That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans. 10:9 (KJV)

● Being saved is a product of following the protocol of God.

● God's protocol is to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord after believing with your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

● In other words, you must first believe with your heart that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and confess with your mouth His lordship over your life, and then you will be saved.

● Dear beloved, after you become born again, or saved from the sins you committed against your Creator, the act of believing and confessing the Word of God doesn't stop, because it must continue daily; and that's why I send God's Word daily, because I keep my spiritual heart and soul on Him and only Him.

● Thus salvation is a continual process because you are still on this earth, and there are challenges that you will go through.

● In order to overcome the challenges of persecutions, diseases, disappointment, unemployment, etc., you must keep believing in the Holy Scriptures, which have solutions to your challenges, and confess or declare them over your life; declare them to the challenges in your life, and they will cease.

● Dearly beloved, the Holy Spirit is waiting to act on your confessions or declaration, so give Him the opportunity to help you and you will always win (John 14:16-18).

📌 GIST - Have You Put the gods Away?

● Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. Joshua 24:14 (KJV)

● Putting the gods in our lives away is a daily affair.

● The background from which we were saved by Jesus Christ keeps fighting against us.

● It is a strategy of the devil to use our past or background against us with the hope of entangling us again with sin and breaching our intimate relationship with God.

○ It is not surprising that some of the Israelites went back into idolatry and that Joshua, their leader, gave a call for sanctification.

● Consequently, the Israelites put away their gods and made a covenant with Joshua to stay away from other gods before departing into their inheritance (Joshua 24:25-28).

● Dear beloved, anything that prevents you from serving God in sincerity and in truth is a god and you must do away with it (Matthew 6:24).

● It may be a cell phone, social media, television, videos, a habit, a job, the Internet, certain people, etc.

● Dearly beloved, let your devotion to God be paramount in prayer, meditating on the Word of God, worship, fellowship, and the like, and God will continually bless you if you put Him first and serve Him sincerely and truthfully.

📌 GIST - Choose to Do Good!

● Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 (KJV)

● Choosing to always do good is a mark of maturity in Christ Jesus.

● The world is getting more and more corrupt by the day, hence it is not uncommon to see evil being perpetrated every day.

● The love of many has grown cold because it is difficult to trust people anymore.

● This is the sign of the end times, which Jesus Christ spoke about (Matthew 24:12).

● Dear beloved, the opening scripture is the truth of God to us.

● We can overcome evil with good even during these end times, when evil is common (Ephesians 5:16).

● Thus we can distinguish ourselves to do good at all times, just as our Lord Jesus Christ did in His days on Earth (Acts 10:38).

● Sometimes people we are good to will pay us back with evil, but let us commit it to the Lord in prayer, and He will take the pain and hurt away and give us grace to continue doing good.

● Dearly beloved, the price paid for doing evil is very embarrassing, but the reward for doing good goes beyond eternity; therefore, choose to do good and be blessed.

● Being peaceful starts with applying the wisdom that God has given you.

● Dear beloved, be on alert wherever you find yourself, and use words carefully.

● Any time you observe that your conversation with another person is turning into a quarrel, this is the right time to apologize and change the subject to one that will produce a peaceful atmosphere.

● Sometimes you may have to apologize and leave the place for some time to enable peace to reign again.

● As a child of God, you have been made a peacemaker to reconcile the world to Christ Jesus (Matthew 5:9).

● Dearly beloved, therefore, ensure that you are at peace with yourself and those around you by focusing on Christ Jesus so that you can be in a position to create a peaceful atmosphere around you for people to enjoy.

● The Christian life is a call to service as a call to serve Christ and humanity in humility and love.

● Some people think being a servant is demeaning and shy away from it.

● Our Lord Jesus Christ, however, taught that greatness lies in being a servant (Luke 22:26-27).

● Dear beloved, thus one cannot be great in the Kingdom of God without first learning to be a servant.

● King Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the elders to be a servant to his people.

● Consequently, he lost all the tribes of Israel except Judah; therefore, learn to be a servant leader wherever you find yourself.

🙌 Dearly beloved, serve both small and great people, and you will work your way to the top, but even while at the top, however, keep serving in love and humility, and you will not lose your place.

📌 GIST - You Connot Bribe GOD!

● And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)

● Trying to bribe God is a work in futility.

● It is also an indication of ignorance of the Word of God when one tries to bribe God (Hosea 4:6).

● He owns everything in this world and is not in need of anything that we can bribe Him with.

● King Saul thought He could bribe God through sacrifices to win the heart of God instead of obeying the instructions of the prophet Samuel.

● GOD rejected his sacrifice.

● Dear beloved, sacrifices are good, but they should come after obedience.

● They cannot be substituted for obedience.

● Dearly beloved, live in obedience to the Word of God, and all your sacrifices of time, and energy, will be accepted by God, and prioritize obedience over sacrifices, and God will bless you.

📌 GIST - Are You Getting Too Familiar With GOD!

● Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30 (KJV)

● Getting too familiar with God leads to disobedience and incurs the sanctions of God.

● Eli, the high priest, and his household got too familiar with God and thought they could still claim the promise of God.

● God changed His mind about them and placed a curse on his household (1 Samuel 2:31-36).

○ Samuel was chosen to fulfill the promise of God instead of the sons of Eli.

● Dear beloved, don't get too familiar with God and lose the promises of God for your life.

● The promises of God are tied to His nature of holiness, righteousness, and truth.

● You cannot live in sin and still claim the promises of God; they will elude you.

● Dearly beloved, honor God by keeping yourself unspotted from the world; live a disciplined and holy life unto God, and you will enjoy His promise, by continuing to fear God even in this perverse generation, and God will bless you (Proverbs 10:27).

● Jesus Christ is the Son of God, meaning that He is God.

● God Almighty is a Spirit, and the only way He could reveal Himself to mankind to behold was to become a human being in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 4:24).

● Dear beloved, let us celebrated another day to remember the love and kindness of God for sending His Word in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

● He was born to deliver mankind from their inherent sin, which was committed by Adam and Eve (John 1:29).

● Jesus Christ submitted to the will of the Father even on the cross of Calvary.

● Dearly beloved, celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ on this fateful day, because we are still alive, to share the good news the love of our Lord with others; let this day be special, and don't celebrate it alone, and let others also feel special on this day, and God will bless you.
