THE $250.000 DOLLARS EFFIAKUMA POLICE PARK ASTROTURF IS NOW AN ASTROPOOL AND A POTHOLES PITCH.

GNPC Foundation, the corporate social investment arm of the Ghana petroleum corporation [GNPC] On, Friday july 13,2018 Sod cutting ceremony took place at a community in Takoradi for the construction of an AstroTurf facility. The facility will be based at Effiakuma Police Park which is a popular football pitch in the community.

Earlier 2018, the ports ministry decided to allocate the then sponsorship money for the national team, to all other sporting disciplines and not just the BlackStars. The AstroTurf is one of the six of such intiatives which will be constructed in he country.

According to the board Chairman to trustees of GNPC Foundation, Nana Ogyeahohoo Yaw Gyebi II, who double as the president of western regional house of chiefs, said the move is to develop football in the region.

The Event saw, Hon. Gifty K**i, Deputy Western Regional Minister, The MP for Effia Constituency, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, Nana and Ogyeahohoo Yaw gyebi II. And the construction of thre Turf is expected to be completed in January 2019.

What a shock•😲

Tuesday on the 26 of September 2023 at Takoradi Accra station a thief become a pulling grain who traveled from the anther to the stigma of a gutter. This man robbed a lady at the station and was asked to clean up the gutter and run inside and remain there for 4hours before they could get him. This happened around 6am.

The branch of science that studies floods is known as hydrology.

Floods are referred to as among the most severe natural disasters.

Floods can either build gradually or rush down toward dry areas.

The water level in a flooded area could reach up to several feet.
