His Royal Majesty Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II dedicated himself to fostering reconciliation and development, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

Maccasio Clears the Air on Mr P Booking Rumors

Following weeks of speculation surrounding the upcoming Maccasio X Mr P concert, Maccasio has finally addressed the rumors.

Speaking in an interview on Radio Tamale today, the Ghanaian rapper dismissed claims that a respected Member of Parliament, Honorable Habib Iddrisu paid the booking fee to bring Nigerian superstar Mr P to Tamale.

According to Maccasio, he personally paid for Mr P’s booking with his own money, and the payment was made in US dollars. He stressed that no one was involved in securing the deal.

The rapper, however, acknowledged that the Member of Parliament supported the event in other important ways as a sponsor. He expressed his sincere appreciation for that support but emphasized that the artist booking itself was entirely financed by him.

The clarification comes after fans and entertainment pundits across the Northern Region debated online over who was responsible for bringing the former PSquare star to the highly anticipated concert, scheduled for July 18 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

According to Maccasio, Mr. P’s booking demand across Africa is unmatched at the moment, placing him ahead of Big African acts like Wizkid, Davido, Rema, Burnaboy, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Diamond Platnumz and more in terms of live performances.

That was the bold claim made by Maccasio during an interview today as he explained why he chose to bring the Nigerian superstar to Tamale.
