Apostle Lilian Aryeequaye has delivered a powerful message encouraging women to stay committed to their purpose and not lose sight of their dreams.

According to her, women are not created to merely exist or depend on others but to fulfil a divine assignment. She stressed that work should not be driven solely by financial need, but by the calling and purpose God has placed in every woman.

“Don’t sacrifice your dream for anything. If he doesn’t believe in your dream, don’t believe in his,” she stated, urging women to prioritize their vision and self-worth.

She further cautioned against losing one’s identity in relationships, noting that abandoning personal ambitions could affect how women are perceived over time. Instead, she encouraged women to remain driven, purposeful, and committed to their goals.

Ghanaian emerging artiste, Web B Kasablanka from the Western Region, has stirred conversation in the music space following his comments on gospel music.

According to him, some gospel songs fail to convey meaningful messages, whereas many hiplife and Afrobeats tracks—often labeled as “worldly”—tend to carry clearer and more relatable content.

He stressed that his opinion was not meant to disrespect any artist, including renowned gospel musician Obaapa Christy. However, he cited her popular song “S3 Ab3ka Dakuro Ma M’awu” as an example, stating that he finds its message difficult to understand.

His remarks have since sparked debate among music lovers, with many weighing in on the depth and relevance of lyrics across different genres in Ghana’s music industry.

Ghanaian music star Fancy Gadam has revealed how a business decision by Sarkodie changed his perception of value and branding in the music industry.

According to Fancy Gadam, he paid GH₵120,000 to secure Sarkodie for his first major show in Tamale back in 2017. The experience, he said, opened his eyes to the true worth of a strong brand.

He explained that after making that investment, he had a conversation with his management team and made a firm decision about his own value. From that point on, he insisted that any performance at the Tamale Stadium should not be priced below GH₵100,000.

Fancy Gadam emphasized that understanding one’s brand value is crucial in the entertainment business, noting that the move helped elevate his status and pricing as an artist.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA), Dr. Frederick Appoh, has announced that the European Commission has approved a €20 million grant to support the Tema–Mpakadan Railway Signalling Upgrade project under the European Train Control System (ETCS Level 1).

The Tema–Mpakadan railway line, which was commissioned in 2024 at a cost of US$449 million, is currently operating below its full potential due to non-functional signalling infrastructure.

According to Dr. Appoh, the absence of an effective signalling system means that only one train can operate on the line at a time. This has significantly reduced efficiency, even as passenger demand for the service continues to grow.
