POWER RESTORED AT AMANTIN AND YAYAHO: MP SELF-FINANCES TWO TRANSFORMERS
Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor, MP for Tarkwa Nsuaem, personally funded two heavy-duty transformers to restore electricity to Amantin and Yayaho after prolonged outages caused by faulty equipment.
Yayaho had been without power for over six months, while Amantin experienced more than two weeks of blackout. With no transformers available from the Sekondi ECG Department, the MP intervened to resolve the issue.
The move is expected to revive businesses, improve security, and bring relief to affected residents.
