Trouble in Paradise? Queen Ciara’s 18-Year Throne Reportedly Threatened as New Women Drop Bombshell Allegations

Controversy is boiling over in the camp of APC founder Rev. Obofour as multiple women have surfaced online with shocking claims — turning what many describe as a quiet private life into a loud public spectacle.
The drama reportedly exploded when Maame Sika, known in business circles for Aduanepa Restaurant, boldly stepped into the spotlight with claims that have sent social media into a frenzy. Online commentators say her sudden appearance has triggered serious conversations about Queen Ciara’s long-standing position after nearly two decades of marriage.
Just when the heat seemed unbearable, another woman — described by bloggers as a previously low-profile figure with twins — allegedly emerged with her own claims, deepening the controversy and fueling public speculation.
Across social media, critics are now describing the situation as a “marriage battlefield,” with rumours flying in all directions and supporters fiercely defending both sides. Unconfirmed reports also suggest Queen Ciara has returned to Ghana from Europe amid the unfolding tension — a move many observers interpret as a sign that the situation has reached boiling point.
Despite the viral chatter and rising public interest, none of the claims have been independently verified, and Rev. Obofour’s camp has not issued any official response as of now.

Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun Issues Public Apology Over Failed NPP Primary Prophecy
Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun has issued a public statement and apology following an inaccurate prophetic declaration he made about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
In the statement, the prophet admitted that through a book, videos, and several media interviews, he publicly declared that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would win the NPP presidential primaries and become the party’s flagbearer. He acknowledged that the prophecy did not materialise.
“That word did not come to pass. I missed it. I was wrong,” he stated, adding that he is deeply sorry and asks for forgiveness from the public.
Prophet Nelson-Eshun noted that because he spoke with prophetic authority, many people trusted his declaration, and some were affected emotionally, spiritually, and politically. He accepted full responsibility for the prophecy and apologised to all who were hurt, disappointed, or negatively impacted, especially those who made decisions based on his pronouncement.
He stressed that he is not blaming anyone or shifting responsibility, openly admitting that the prophecy, as declared, failed. According to him, the incident has prompted a period of reflection and realignment, particularly concerning accountability and discernment in the communication of prophetic revelations.
The prophet further reaffirmed his commitment to integrity, growth, and truth, while extending an apology to believers in Ghana and around the world who felt disappointed or wounded by the outcome. He also apologised to anyone whose faith may have been shaken regarding the voice of God as a result of his actions.
Prophet Nelson-Eshun expressed gratitude to those who have corrected him in love and to those who continue to pray for him.
The statement was signed by Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun.

Fuel Sold at Atimpoku Shell Station Was Contaminated With Water – High Court Hears

It has emerged at the High Court in Accra that fuel sold to businessman Edmund Barwuah at the Atimpoku Shell Fuel Station was contaminated with water.

This was revealed during court proceedings when John Delase-Michael, a retailer at the Atimpoku Shell Fuel Station, testified as the First Defence Witness for Vivo Energy Ghana Limited, operators of Shell fuel stations in the country.

Under cross-examination by lawyers for the plaintiff, Delase-Michael admitted that the fuel dispensed at the station, including the fuel sold to Mr Barwuah, was mixed with water.

The admission comes amid an ongoing lawsuit filed by Mr Barwuah against Vivo Energy, following an incident in which his vehicle reportedly developed mechanical faults shortly after being refuelled at the station. The plaintiff maintains that the contaminated fuel caused damage to his vehicle and exposed him to danger.

The case forms part of wider public concern that erupted in 2022 after reports and videos surfaced alleging that petrol sold at the Atimpoku Shell station had been mixed with water, leading to regulatory action and investigations.

The High Court is expected to continue hearing evidence as the case proceeds.

Fuel Prices Drop as GOIL and Star Oil Announce New Rates Effective January 16

Leading oil marketing companies in Ghana, GOIL and Star Oil, have announced reductions in fuel prices, effective Friday, January 16, 2026.

GOIL stated that its new prices will take effect from 6:00 a.m. at selected stations nationwide. Under the new rates, Super XP will sell at GH¢9.99 per litre, down from GH¢10.99, while Diesel XP will reduce from GH¢11.96 to GH¢11.21. Super XP 95 will, however, remain unchanged at GH¢13.97 per litre. The company noted that the discounted prices apply only at selected GOIL stations.

Similarly, Star Oil announced discounted prices effective 8:00 a.m. on the same day. According to the company, Super petrol will sell at GH¢9.97 per litre, Diesel at GH¢10.97, and RON 95 at GH¢12.54. Star Oil added that some stations across the country may sell at the general prices of GH¢10.56 for Super and GH¢11.56 for Diesel, depending on location.

The price adjustments are expected to bring some relief to motorists and transport operators amid concerns over fuel costs.

Dormaahene Leads Anti-Galamsey Operation in Dormaa

Dormaahene, Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, together with the Dormaa Anti-Galamsey Task Force and members of the Traditional Council, has taken decisive action against illegal mining in Dormaa-Akwamu, Akontanim, and Kobedi.

The special operation led to the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of seven water pumping machines, which have since been handed over to the Ghana Police Service.

In a strong caution, Dormaahene warned that any further attempts at illegal mining on Dormaa stool lands would be met with strict consequences.

This move underscores the Traditional Council’s firm stance in protecting natural resources and ensuring environmental sustainability within the Dormaa jurisdiction.
