Thousands Rally in Tepa for Health Walk Supporting NPP Candidate Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh
In a remarkable display of solidarity and support, thousands of prominent figures and local residents gathered in Tepa, within the Ahafo Ano North constituency of the Ashanti region, for a health walk organized by the Friends of Nana Agyeman Prempeh. The event aimed to endorse Hon. Eric Nana Agyeman Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, ahead of the upcoming elections.
The vibrant health walk saw a sea of supporters, including notable NPP members such as Hon. Nana Adwoa Achia, the constituency's NPP women organizer,Mr. Prince Kwame Dormaa,Mr. Paul Fosu, Elder Larbi, Mama Dee and just to mention a few.Their presence highlighted the party's unity and enthusiasm as they rallied behind their chosen representative, Hon. Elder Larbi, speaking to the crowd after the successful walk, appealed to all party sympathizers to support Hon. He also emphasized the importance of a decent and respectful campaign, urging members to avoid insults and instead focus on promoting the NPP's achievements and agenda.

2-unit classroom block inaugurated for Danyame Basic School
A two unit-classroom block has been inaugurated for Danyame Basic school in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Annor on behalf of Danyame nkɔsoɔ hene Nana Louis Feldman and nkɔsoɔ hemaa Nana Efua Ofeebea Feldman on March 19, 2024 inaugurate a 2unit classroom block at Danyame M/A basic school.
This comes after the collapse of the K.G block in August last year, the Annor-Feldman came in to build a new block to afford the pupils enjoy a serene atmosphere to learn
The classroom was build purposely for the Kindergarten One and Two as a distinct department to end the tradition of living at the mercies of the sun and rain.
Speaking to Abrantepa Kizaro, Dr. Annor elucidated on the noble motives behind their philanthropic endeavor, emphasizing the paramount importance of accessible education for all.
Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. Grace Oppong Agyapong, the Municipal Director of Education for Ahafo Ano North, extended heartfelt appreciation to *Dr. Annor and the Feldman family*. TEPA NURSING AND MIDWIFERY TRAINING COLLEGE HELD ITS MATRICULATION AND GRADUATION CEREMONY
The Tepa Nursing and Midwifery training college in the Ashanti region has held its 16th matriculation and 1st Graduation ceremony for the 2023/24 academic year and formally admitted 1002 fresh students.
Dr. Albert Opoku, the Principal of the college, emphasized the institution's commitment to its three registered programs: General Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Assistant Clinicals. Despite receiving a staggering 3,100 applicants, only 1002 students were admitted due to infrastructure limitations.Among the admitted students, 535 are enrolled in General Nursing, 218 in Midwifery, and 249 in Health Assistant Clinicals.
Dr. Opoku acknowledged the pressing need to expand infrastructure to accommodate more aspiring healthcare professionals, expressing concerns that failing to do so might jeopardize future admissions.
During the graduation ceremony, Dr. Opoku underscored the importance of hard work in nursing and midwifery careers, urging students to dedicate themselves to their studies. He emphasized that diligence and commitment are crucial in acquiring the necessary skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
Addressing the media, Dr. Opoku highlighted the college's affiliation with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Notably, the college will now conduct annual graduation ceremonies for Health Assistant Clinicals, reflecting its commitment to recognizing all graduates.
In closing, Dr. Opoku reiterated his advice to the graduates, urging them to take their responsibilities seriously as they embark on their professional journeys.

TEPA-KATABO ASSEMBLYMEMBER ORGANIZES CLEANUP EXERCISE TO MARK NEW YEAR DAY
The Katabo Electoral Area in the Ahafo Ano north municipality newly elected Assembly member, Mr. Habib Mohammed popularly known as Alhaji Kiti has organised a clean up exercise on New Year Day.
The exercise is to keep the environment clean and also advocate for cleanliness among residents to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Mr. Habib Mohammed and the Unit Committee members with the support of the Zongo electoral area Assembly member Mr Issah Mohamed and the community intended to clean and desilte gutters around Tepa ward 1 area, where indiscriminate dumping of waste has choked the gutters with filth and sand.
Habib Mohammed who was engaged by Abrantepa kizaro says his major concern was to help improve the sanitary condition in the area. He also urge on his fellow Assembly members and MPs to also do same and added that the cleaning of the area should be a collective effort and must not be left in the hands of only the government.
He also used the opportunity to appeal to members of the Tepa ward 1 community to cultivate a new habit of keeping their environment clean.
Finally Mr Habib Mohammed said they will prosecute environmental offenders after much had been done to sensitise the people on the need to keep the environment clean.
