🚨 BREAKING: MAJOR WEAPONS HAUL IN BOLGATANGA! 🚨
Something much more dangerous than a "clucking" hen was found hiding in a local coop!
A routine morning sweep at a mechanic workshop near the Assemblies of God Church turned into a massive police operation on May 9th. An apprentice discovered something suspicious, and boy, was he right.
The Breakdown:
The Discovery: Two sealed packets hidden inside fertilizer sacks.
The Location: Tucked away inside a hen coop at the workshop!
The Haul: A staggering 1,400 rounds of 7.62×39mm ammunition.
The Upper East Regional Police Command moved in lightning-fast to secure the area and seize the stash. While the "exhibits" are safely in custody, the big question remains: Who does this belong to, and what was the plan?
Investigations are officially underway to track down the owners of this illegal stockpile.
Kudos to the mechanic and his apprentice for speaking up! 👏 Safety starts with being alert.

BREAKING: Bolgatanga’s Most Wanted Takedown – The AK-47 Gang is Off the Streets! 🚨
The streets of the Upper East Region are breathing a massive sigh of relief today. In a high-stakes, intelligence-led operation, the Ghana Police Service has successfully dismantled a notorious robbery syndicate that has been terrorizing mining communities and commuters for over a year.
Here is the breakdown of how the law finally caught up with them.
The Takedown: A Stealth Operation
On May 5, 2026, police moved in on four suspects—Abdulai Ibrahim, Amadu Rahman, Amadu Sulemana (alias "Saaga"), and Adu Yakubu. The gang had just converged at Gbane, a busy mining hub in the Talensi District, after traveling from Yagaba and Fumbisi. They weren't there for a social visit; they had just completed a fresh heist, netting four motorbikes and a haul of mobile phones. Little did they know, their luck had just run out.
The "Viral" Connection
This wasn’t just any petty theft crew. During intense interrogation, the suspects made a chilling confession: they were the men in the video.
Remember that viral footage from March 2022 showing a brazen daylight robbery at the Vikandi Phone Shop in Bolgatanga? The one with the masked man wielding an AK-47? That was them. They also admitted to:
Multiple raids on the Gbane mining sites, stealing gold and massive amounts of cash.
Terrorizing travelers on the Yagaba-Fumbisi and Yagaba-Nanguruma roads.
The Hidden Arsenal and a Final Twist
The gang leader, Amadu Rahman, led officers to a remote farm near Biung to recover their "heavy hitter." Hidden inside a common fertilizer sack was a lethal AK-47 rifle (Serial No. 68100563) and a staggering 87 rounds of live ammunition.
However, the drama didn’t end with the recovery. During the search, Rahman collapsed unexpectedly. He was rushed to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital but was tragically pronounced dead on arrival. His body is currently awaiting an autopsy.
What Happens Next?
With their leader gone, the remaining three suspects—Ibrahim, Sulemana, and Yakubu—are currently in custody. They are expected to be hauled before the court shortly to face the full weight of the law.
Our Take: This is a massive win for the Ghana Police Service. By recovering a high-powered weapon and taking this violent crew off the board, Bolga and the surrounding mining districts just became a whole lot safer.

SAD! H.ookup ladies cry as three guys use their belts to b.eat them basabasa after C.HOPPING them wotowoto and refusing to pay while demanding for more rounds with their massive joysticks up and hard like banku dadeɛ

According to the lady, the men told her to come along with two of her friends for a short time, and they agreed GHS 150 each making GHS 450 for the three of them.

Hence she showed up with her friends to deliver their part of the deal. However, after they finished, the guys refused to pay and said they wanted another round.

They tried to explain that ‘short time’ is just one round, while a ‘day break means more

What started as a beautiful "fairytale" has turned into a total scandal. ☕️
Remember the young man with the speech impairment whose pastor promised a house, cash, and a trip abroad to any woman who would marry him? Well, a woman in her 40s stepped up, claimed she was a virgin, and walked down the aisle to collect those prizes.
The catch? The wedding cake wasn't even cold before the truth came out. She isn’t just "not a virgin"—she’s a mother of THREE! 🫢
Was it love, or was it the GHS 79K and the new house? 🏠💰

It was supposed to be a straightforward deal: 3 ladies, 3 guys, and a total of GHS 450 (GHS 150 each) for a "short time" session. But things went from zero to 100 real quick after the "wotowoto" was over!
The ladies thought their job was done, but the guys had other plans. They refused to pay up and allegedly demanded "Round 2" by force! When the ladies tried to explain that "short time" means ONE round and "day break" is a different price, things turned physical.
Belts were flying "basabasa" as the guys allegedly used force to get what they wanted without paying a pesewa. It’s a wild scene and a heavy lesson on why these "deals" can be so dangerous.

💔 HEARTBREAKING: A Night of Mistaken Identity Ends in Double Tragedy
What was supposed to be a regular night turned into a nightmare in Akrofu, leaving a community in shock and a family shattered.
It started with a spark of jealousy. A young man from Sankore, fueled by suspicions that a rival had taken his girlfriend to a wake in a green Pragya, headed out with his friends looking for a confrontation.
But fate took a cruel, irreversible turn.
The Fatal Mistake
By the time the suspect arrived, his actual rival had already slipped away. In a rush of blind rage, the suspect spotted Yaw Clinton driving a similar green Pragya and jumped to a deadly conclusion.
Without warning, a concealed knife was drawn. Yaw was attacked and collapsed under the weight of multiple wounds.
Brotherly Love Met with Violence
When Kofi Nsowa saw his brother in peril, he didn't hesitate. He stepped in to shield Yaw, trying to save his life—only for the attacker to turn the blade on him.
Two brothers (aged just 19 and 23) gone. All because of a girl, a green tricycle, and a tragic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"They weren't even the ones he was looking for."
The suspect is currently on the run as police begin their investigation into this senseless loss of life.
