The Golden Stool, the sacred symbol of the Asantes; believed to possess the sunsum (soul) of the Asante people.

According to legend, Okomfo Anokye, a high priest caused the Golden Stool — sika dwa in the Akan language of the Asante — to descend from heaven in a cloud and landed on the lap of the first Asante king, Osei Tutu.

Such seats were traditionally symbolic of a chieftain's leadership, but the Golden Stool is believed to house the spirit of the Asante nation—living, dead and yet to be born.

Headline: MP for A.S.W.C DONATES TO TRAD'L COUNCIL

Member of parliament for Awutu senya West constituency, Hon. Gizella Tetteh Agbotui has donated hundred bags of cement to the Awutu Senya Traditional council inorder to aid early building and completing on an ongoing project in the district.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Gizella Tetteh Agbotui said it's one of their dreams to build an office for the council in the district.

She added that before the sod cutting, she made a promise that she will donate two hundred bags of cement to aid in building and completion of the project in the district.

She has however fulfilled her promise by donating Hundred bags of cements and assured the entire traditional council that the rest will come soon so they should all anticipate towards it.

: Chief Executive officer for the Chief Alhaji Sulley Issah's Foundation who doubles as the Moshie chief for Abeka, Naaba Sogbo(I) together with his entire foundation crew and some elders of the Islam community, have given back to society by giving alms to orphans and widows of the Darus-Salam Orphanage Home.
Speaking in an interview with the media he explained that the Holy Qur'an speaks of alms giving especially when it is in line with the less privileged that's why he decided to fulfill his heavenly order by making such donation.
He further advised the general public to continually support and help the needy as the government cannot provide for everyone in the country.
Also several donations has been made by him even before he was enstooled as a chief therefore this won't be the last and further urged the general public to support the foundation in cash and kind inorder for them to continually support the needy in society.

CEO of Darus-Salam Orphanage Home, Mr. Eliasu Attakorah, after the presentation addressed the media and expressed utmost gratitude to the chief and his entire foundation asking Almighty Allah to bless them and continually open doors for them so that they can do more in helping the needy, especially orphans.
He also added that the foundation has other branches in Tamale,Techiman,Kumasi,Takoradi and their main branch which is located at Ashongman,Quist Town with the aim of changing the phase of Islamic community,a total number of 33 children 21 been girls and 12 boys.
Therefore he made an appeal to the general public to support them in any means so that they can also provide for the children and make them comfortable.

Headline: Legalization of Same S*x Marriage is Blasphemous

Apostle Kadmiel E.H Agbalenyoh, Founder and leader of the Seventh Day Congregation of Theocracy, speaking in an interview with NYCE fm has advised chiefs, civic entities, Christian council and the general public to continue fighting against the legalization of LGBT+ in Ghana.
He explained accepting gay or le***an marriage is a blasphemous statement that can cause havoc on a nation, therefore we shouldn't allow our minds to be controlled by the foreigners or succumb to their pressure.
Also our African culture speaks against same s*x marriage so if president Nana Addo forgot to address it in the just ended SONA,we as Ghanaians can sit up to resist all attempts on its legalization.
